Help

Everything about ordering from us, in plain language. If anything here is unclear, write to contactus@barsanacollective.com and a person will answer.

Shipping

Where we ship. Anywhere in India. International shipping isn't available yet — if you're outside India, write to us and we'll see what's possible.

How long it takes. Ready-made pieces leave the workshop within 2–3 working days of your order being confirmed, and reach you in 7–10 days from dispatch. Custom and corporate orders follow the timeline agreed in your quote, usually 3–4 weeks from sample approval.

What it costs. Online checkout has not started. Product quotations and shipping details are shared during your WhatsApp enquiry.

Tracking. When your parcel is dispatched you'll receive an email with the courier name and tracking number. You can also check status any time on Track your order using your order ID and the phone number or email you ordered with.

Address and delivery. Please check your address and phone number carefully — couriers call before delivery in most cities. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody was reachable after repeated attempts, we'll contact you to re-send; a second shipping charge may apply.

Delays. Weather, strikes and festival-season volumes occasionally slow couriers down. If your order is running late, tell us and we'll chase it from our side.

Returns & refunds

We make things to be used for years, and we want you to be happy with what arrives. You have 7 days from the day you receive your order to tell us if something isn't right.

When we accept a return

  • Damaged in transit. Please photograph the parcel and the item as you unbox it and send the photos with your order ID. Unboxing photos or a short video are the proof we need — and they're what the courier needs from us too.
  • Not what you expected. If the piece doesn't match what you ordered or doesn't feel right, tell us why. We ask for a reason so we can fix the product or the listing, not to argue with you.
  • Wrong item sent. Our mistake, our cost. We'll arrange a pickup and send the right one.

What we can't take back

  • Items that have been used, washed, or had tags removed, unless they arrived damaged.
  • Custom and corporate orders printed with your logo, names or artwork — these are made for you and can't be resold. We'll always replace a piece with a manufacturing defect.
  • Requests made more than 7 days after delivery.

How it works

  1. Email contactus@barsanacollective.com within 7 days with your order ID, photos, and a line on what happened.
  2. We reply within 2 working days with approval and either a reverse-pickup slot or a return address.
  3. Once the item reaches us and is checked, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. Exchanges ship as soon as the replacement is ready.

Prints are applied and quilted by hand, so small differences in colour and motif placement between pieces — and between the photo and the piece — are part of the product, not defects.

Privacy

We collect only what we need to make and deliver your order, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

What we collect

  • Name, phone number, email and delivery address — to confirm, make and ship your order and to answer your questions.
  • Order details and correspondence — so we can help with returns and repeat orders.
  • For custom orders: the artwork, logos and briefs you send us — used only to make your order.
  • If you create an account: your name, email, mobile number, age and city, plus the products you like and save. A full delivery address is optional until you place an order. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email — we never store a password. We ask for age because we design for specific age groups and accounts are for adults only.
  • Address details can include state, city, country, building/flat, street, landmark, postal code and an optional delivery pin. Current location requires browser permission. Coordinates are saved only after you confirm the pin and submit your profile or address update. You can remove or replace the pin from My account.
  • The optional map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives normal connection details such as your IP address and the map area requested. A Google Maps link is generated from your saved pin; Google receives a request when you open that link. Manual address entry remains available without opening the map.
  • Our online payment gateway is not active, so this website does not currently collect card, UPI or bank details.

How it's used and who sees it

  • Our small team, to make and deliver your order.
  • The courier, who receives your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel.
  • Google Workspace, where our account and enquiry records live; Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up this website; and WhatsApp when you choose to contact us there.
  • Order details are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (currently eight years), then deleted.

Cookies and your browser

This site may store your saved likes and account session in your own browser (local storage) so they are there when you come back. We don't run advertising trackers. Basic, anonymous visit statistics may be collected to understand which pages are useful.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Write to contactus@barsanacollective.com. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and will respond within 30 days.

Terms of use and enquiries

These terms explain how barsanacollective.com currently works while online shopping is paused. We've written them to be read, not hidden behind.

Who we are

Barsana Collective is a brand of [Legal entity name], GSTIN [GSTIN], with its registered office at [registered address], India. All products are designed and made in India.

Ordering

  • You must be 18 or older to place an order, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.
  • The website currently presents a catalogue for browsing. Sending a product code through WhatsApp is an enquiry, not an online order or confirmed sale.
  • Availability, quotations, taxes and shipping details are shared directly during the enquiry.
  • Online payment is not available until our payment gateway and shipping system are ready. These terms will be updated before online checkout opens.

Custom and corporate orders

  • Quotes are valid for 15 days. Work begins on receipt of the advance stated in the quote, and the balance is due before dispatch.
  • You confirm you have the right to use any logo, name or artwork you send us. We print it in good faith and aren't responsible for checking ownership.
  • We send a proof (and, for larger orders, a stitched sample) for approval before production. Once you approve, we make to that proof; changes afterwards may carry a cost.
  • Custom orders are not returnable except for manufacturing defects — see Returns above.

Our products

Every piece is printed and quilted by hand in small runs. Colours, print placement and finishing vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photographs on this site. That variation is intended. Photographs are as true to colour as we can make them, but screens differ.

Our content

The Barsana Collective name, logo, prints, photographs and words on this site belong to us. You're welcome to share them with credit; please don't reproduce them commercially or use them on your own products without asking.

Limits

We're responsible for supplying what you ordered, in good condition, in a reasonable time. We aren't responsible for losses that aren't a reasonable consequence of something we did wrong, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

If something goes wrong

Talk to us first — most problems are solved with one email. If we can't resolve a dispute between us, these terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, including the Calcutta High Court, will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms and policies from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. Last updated: September 2026.
